Position Summary:

As a Sr. Marketing Coordinator within HARMAN’s lifestyle automotive division, you’ll be part of a fast-paced and passionate team dedicated to delivering world-class audio experiences to consumers. This position will report to the Global VP, Lifestyle Automotive Marketing, with a dotted line to the Sr. Director Marketing. S/he will coordinate all activities of the customer marketing team, including but not limited to, global budget tracking, maintaining program launch calendars, PO tracking, create internal and external presentations. S/he will help ensure alignment on priorities and help identify synergies and partner with the cross-functional marketing teams to refine processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute globally agreed upon processes and workflows.
  • Partner closely with Global Marketing Leadership and cross-functional marketing and finance managers to implement best practices, while adapting processes to the nuanced needs of the region where necessary.
  • Support local lifestyle automotive marketing leadership in team communications as well as the creation of internal/external presentations for executive audiences.
  • Work with marketing project leads to ensure accurate spend forecasting, budget tracking and regular communication with the finance team.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with support functions including Procurement, Finance, Huemen Design and Legal.
  • Manage global marketing budget and T&E spend tracking against the budget throughout the year with regular report-outs of actuals vs. budget.
  • Proactively identify challenges in team processes and develop solutions to present to marketing leadership.
  • Support planning on a biannual to quarterly basis, ensuring marketing leads are aligned with the regional priorities and everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information.
  • Support Global Marketing VP in the administrative support of expense reporting and travel processing.
  • Ad hoc special project support as necessary by the marketing leadership team.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years administrative, marketing or project management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Passion for process improvement.
  • Can manage their time effectively while handling tasks with both short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Highly collaborative and flexible attitude.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time if necessary.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
