Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Sales executes corporate, division and department goals as directed by the CBU Leader. These goals and objectives may be assigned to appropriate team members as necessary.    The Senior Manager, Sales monitors the progress of his/her assigned goals and requests support from the CBU Leader to provide tools and process changes to facilitate achievement of the goals. This role manages existing business and grows the global audio product portfolio.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role has at least two or more direct or indirect reports.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Lead NA commercial requirements, negotiations and relationships with customer TEMA Purchasing organization.
  2. Formulate pricing strategy for the global audio business.
    1. Direct the quote development and submission process for NA business region.
    2. Negotiate APR for NA audio business.
    3. Support and coordinate global purchasing activities between NA, EU, Japan, and China.
    4. Defend margin and drive competitiveness with all audio products.
  3. Lead business development efforts for all NA based program developments.
    1. Drive accounts global acoustic roadmap into TEMA.
    2. Educate and sell TTC on new technology opportunities
    3. Relationship development throughout TTC and TEMA teams
  4. Lead, manage and mentor commercial sales team to deliver BIC customer and internal support.
  5. Supervise all change management activities including sub-supplier, VAVE, manufacturing transfers, and customer ECI’s.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in sales management with a proven track record of growing and sustaining sales revenue.
  • Prior experience in the design and/or sale of acoustic/audio products.
  • Technical background in the electronics field.
  • Knowledge of acoustic products (microphones, speakers, and receivers).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Eight years of Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • SAP experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Interest and understanding of consumer, audio, or electronics.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment, while maintaining good customer relations at all times.
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly, efficiently, and accurately from varying sources.
  • Ability to take initiative, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate assertiveness.
  • Tenacious but professional approach.
  • Flexible with a high degree of determination and perseverance.
  • Excellent time management skills.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Novi, MI
