Software Project Manager (Head Up Display)

Role and Responsibility

•             Lead software Design & Release activities for program, including responsibility for costs and weight, funding, program deliverables tracking, part releases, prototype builds, launch support, etc.

•             Lead interface with supplier partners

•             Lead weekly program management meetings and technical design reviews

•             Lead Harware & Sostware development;

•             Interface with software engineering to track timing and development status, and lead SW design reviews

•             Lead Head Up Display (HUD) packaging effort, partnering with Body Interior, Body Exterior, Design Studio, Manufacturing, Service, and all other interfacing organizations;

•             Work closely with glass team and studio to balance performance tradeoffs

•             Coordinate feature development with HMI/UX development team

•             Work closely with HUD core team for specification deployment, validation and testing

•             Work closely with R&A team on development of holographic and other advanced HUD technologies

•             Drive development of requirements and specifications for Augmented Reality, AR ECU, and AR HUD

•             Lead FMA of AR, AR ECU, AR HUD, and HUD.
