Position Summary:

Responsible for data analytics and operational support for HARMAN Professional Division. This role will also contribute to the capacity and production planning processes while directly interacting with HARMAN internal teams and customers. This role will provide output to support demand forecasting, finished goods planning and purchasing for HARMAN. Uses internal tools to provide customer demand and trend information. Monitor and implement metrics and reporting on accuracy and issues. Utilizes metrics to understand the root cause and drive continuous improvement. Interfaces with internal and external teams to get appropriate information for all needs. Provides Management with reporting and data analysis as needed. Applies basic knowledge of departmental principles and procedures. Performs work within the company and regulatory guidelines.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and report supply constraints and coordinate with global supply and regional teams.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Backorder, Supply and Forecast Reports.
  • Assist with data pulling and analysis in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Monitor and implement key metrics and work with teams for the root cause.
  • Performs work within the company and regulatory guidelines.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in process of) in the supply chain, business or Operation management related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of SAP experience (i.e. Report creation, generation, analysis).
  • 1 – 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS-Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analysis from multiple sources to draw conclusions and recommendations.
  • Familiar with Supply Chain and operations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • High knowledge proficiency with MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, and Formulas), PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, logical and innovative thinker.
  • Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
  • Superior communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Positive attitude and flexible to change.
  • Commitment and passion for continuous improvement.

  • Willingness to work in the Northridge office.
