Position Summary:

We are looking for someone who can create retail theater to help tell the JBL & Harman Kardon story in retail (Heavy JBL Focus). This person will help drive US Trade & Shopper marketing excellence by helping create innovative customer solutions. Chief among this role’s responsibility is to assist with trade show planning and execution and lead Harman’s trade communication strategies and tactics.  This role works across all customers – both national and local, as well as with all sales reps and marketing counterparts. This role will also assist with in-store trade creative development and execution. This person will report to the Sr. Manager of Trade Communications and Product Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with third party agencies to lead creative implementation and management of all aspects of trade communications and trade shows
  • Lead development and distribution of newsletters, price lists, customer account information, and promotional calendars
  • Assist with all communications for US product announcements marketing and sales activities
  • Manage and maintain Promotional Calendar and assist with monthly update conference calls in collaboration with sales and marketing leadership
  • Work collaboratively with manager on coordination and logistics for high profile US region events and Trade Shows including CES and annual national sales meetings.
  • Ensure all aspects needed for event success are accomplished including show site logistics and coordination of onsite entertainment when applicable
  • Manage regional marketing assets via Harman Media Library for dissemination to customers and sales team
  • Refresh and update design, layout and product assortment for Northridge Campus Product Showroom to showcase and highlight new product launches
  • Assist with execution of product merchandising including creation of POS (point of sale) displays and updates.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years consumer marketing experience
  • Experience in a large organization or agency is preferred.
  • Previous customer marketing experience is a bonus.
  • Experience selling programs internally or externally is a bonus.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Photoshop experience is preferred.

  • Willingness to travel 15% of the time
  • Willingness to work in Northridge, CA
