Position Summary:

The Finance Business Analyst is a newly create role within the Finance Function and plays a key role in the development of management information for the Global Finance function. The position is responsible for developing financial reporting and data requirements, standardizing processes across Consumer SBU, and conducting audits to ensure proper documentation and adherence to global policies and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • SAP Superuser as first line of support and liaison between Consumer Audio SBU and IT organization.
  • Develop Finance management information and reporting functionality using systems delivered by IT.
  • Lead the management information and data requirements gathering initiative to develop and/or streamline the operational reporting capabilities for the Global Consumer Finance organization.
  • Assist IT to work with Finance teams to understand their management information and data requirements.
  • Collaborate with the regional and BU Finance teams to understand their management information and data requirements, and articulation of these needs to IT to aid in the direction of report development.  
  • Delivery of strong governance  and Project Management for non-IT related Finance initiatives.
  • Assist IT Project Management by providing  clearly defined and detailed project initiation documents, inclusive of business use cases, process flows, traceability matrices as well as report mock-ups.
  • Drive the implementation of processes to fully leverage the capabilities of the systems.
  • Plan and facilitate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with Finance stakeholders regarding Finance related project activities.
  • Development of “deep dive” analysis of business results and operational metrics.
  • Support audits both internal and external;
  • Standardize processes across 11 regions and 6 Business Units;
  • Identify and recommend tools to support financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or IT
  • Minimum 4 years experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SAP (SAP "superuser")
  • Strong knowledge of BPC
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with reporting tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally and culturally
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using standard project and business tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc
  • Time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlinesPowerpoint
  • Experience with Consumer Electronics industry is a plus
