Position Summary:

The Sales Analyst will manage sales projections, sales analysis and sales reporting for the Luxury Audio organization. Position will coordinate and analyze forecasting with supply chain team as well as work with order entry and warehouse teams on execution of allocations and key customer shipments and delivery metrics. The role will also work closely with sales directors in sales projections, forecast and sales analysis. The Sales Analyst will work with supply chain, customer service and warehouse teams in executing sales needs all the way from initial forecast to timely, compliant delivery.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales projections, sales analysis and sales reporting
  • Create additional metrics for success and development of model and ongoing effectiveness
  • Coordinate and analyze forecasting with supply chain team
  • Communicate actionable insights and findings to all levels of Sales and Operations
  • Create and interpret reports to identify and explain potential risks, opportunities and changes
  • Identify key growth opportunities and present findings to sales leadership
  • Work with order entry and warehouse teams on execution of allocations and key customer shipments and delivery metrics
  • Track key customer supply chain requirements to ensure execution and minimize charge-backs
  • Work closely with sales directions on accurate sales projections, forecasting and sales analysis
  • Work with supply chain, customer service and warehouse teams in executing sales needs from forecast to timely, compliant delivery
  • Be sales team interface and advocate to other Harman teams including Supply Chain, Order Entry and Warehouse teams

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of sales forecasting, sales analysis or order management experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in SAP
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
  • Consumer electronics industry experience

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 5% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Northridge, CA.
