Position Summary:

The Sr. HR Generalist of Huemen Human Resources is responsible for managing various aspects of the Human Resources function for the Huemen Design organization. This role will partner with Human Resources leaders and business partners in our different site locations to implement HR policies and procedures that will provide and maintain a suitably skilled and well-motivated workforce to meet HARMAN’s current and future HR requirements. This position will be key in insuring the Huemen design organization is fully transitioned into all of the HARMAN HR processes.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no direct reports.

 

  • This position will work with the HRBPs in the 6 Huemen site locations:

 

  • Bangalore (Bangalore, Coimbatore, Curgaon, Pune)
  • Mountainview (Mountainview, Richardson, Seattle)
  • Munich (Munich, Garching, Karlsbad, Bochum, London, Russia)
  • Novi (Novi, Detroit)
  • New York
  • Shenzen (Shenzen, Suzhou, Shanghai, Japan)

              

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads, delivers and monitors key HR processes for Heumen
  • Work to insure the Huemen design organization is fully transitioned into all of the HARMAN HR processes
  • Provides advice and direction to managers and employees related to performance management, employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, compliance, training & development and organizational design.
  • Works with Global Mobility to coordinate & implement relocation & visa requirements
  • Business partner on all employment issues.
  • Facilitates the leveraging of best practices and culture within the business to promote employee engagement
  • Manages, supports and implements HR projects as required.
  • Counsels employees and managers on HR company policies.
  • Provides advice and direction to managers and employees related to performance management, employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, compensation, compliance, training & development and organizational design.
  • As needed, the position can assist with Marketing HR requirements

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Relevant experience in managing HR programs.
  • Project leadership experience.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed to site locations (10%)
  • Willingness to work in an office in New York City
