Delivery Project Manager

The Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing multiple concurrent projects to deliver Redbend’s solution. The Project Manager is expected to collaborate with customers, 3rd party vendors, regional teams, engineering groups, product management, marketing and technical support stakeholders.

He/she will manage all phases of projects, from kick-off through production launch, then manage the solution in production.  This role is responsible for project management, customer satisfaction, and successful implementation of the Redbend solution.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from kickoff through development and testing, then manage the solution in production
  • Develop and manage plans that align with customer, supplier, and internal timelines
  • Work closely with customers (technical and executive level) to understand the requirements in a wide view, and develop effective working relationships
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team, and competition for resources between projects
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and crises, and devise contingency plans as needed
  • Facilitate working meetings and status meetings as appropriate throughout the project, proactively identifying than taking required action across multiple work streams in the project to keep delivery on schedule
  • Provide status updates to Redbend leadership
  • Manage escalations and issues including keeping customers and Redbend leadership informed of status and action plans until issues are resolved
  • Support the technical teams by prioritizing issues and ensuring effective communications between the project team and suppliers: push to “get things done”
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and multiple internal teams; professionally representing both points-of-view to the other parties in negotiations
  • Lead analysis of device update patterns, issues, failures, and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Manage customer expectations, through tight collaboration with Solution Management, R&D and Sales teams
  • Be actively involved in optimizing and improving work process and methodologies. Conduct Lessons Learnt and Post Mortem sessions for continuous improvement

Required Experience

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in managing complex software projects (preferably spanning both client and server-side development and integration)
  • 3 years of experience managing automotive software development projects involving multiple suppliers
  • Experienced in vehicle program gates and milestones and supplier requirements to manage to same
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent software development and/or integration projects
  • Comprehensive experience covering multiple aspects of software development, software testing, and production operations of systems and services



  • Software engineering/ Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong technical background in software/ automotive industry
  • Analytical experience using large datasets and graphing tools
  • Service mid-set, able to balance customer satisfaction with cost of service delivery
  • Customer facing experience
  • Excellent human relations with cross-cultural communication experience
  • Strong verbal/ presentation/ rhetorical abilities
  • Strong self-management capabilities; positivity and a high motivation towards accomplishing objectives
  • Strong methodology background (PMI certified an advantage), Independent, quick learner
  • Improvisation skills, “out of the box” thinking
  • Ability to successfully operate under pressure
  • Ability to identify gaps in plans and processes, then address those gaps
  • Understanding of Information Technology production operations and maintenance processes
  • Desire to proactively and flexibly take on new challenges, applying experience
  • Able to travel ~ 15%
