Project Lead Augmented Reality_Head-Up Display (m/f)

  • As technical UX Project lead you will work independently and manage overall execution of Head-up display development programs including optical components, HW, ME and FW. 
  • Manage AR-HUD schedule development, specifications, component release and quality/ technical/ industrialization issues for OEM customers
  • Work with third-party vendors, suppliers (f.e. Samsung) and external customers associated to optical component development for HUD
  • Represent UX in Team1, cooperate with program management, be the interface to UX cross-functional development team and to Harman global development organization.
  • Support Display RFIs, RFQs, POCs received from various OEM
  • Manage internal POCs with emerging display/ optical technologies for HUDs in terms of technical realization, deadlines, costs and quality
  • Monitor and identify risks before they become issues (risk management)


  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Technical understanding of HUD and related technologies
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product development or program management role
  • Proven project management experience in automotive or aerospace industry.
  • Effective communication, analytical, judgment, initiative and execution skills.
  • Experienced in technically leading cross functional and multicultural teams
  • Willingly to travel
