Lead Software Architect Highly Automated Driving (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Software Architecture expert for Sensor Fusion applications and Framework design
  • Define Software Architecture: Experience in Sensor interfacing, Algorithm dataflow, for real time and safety critical systems
  • Has been recently involved in projects with one or more of the following: Perception, Localization, Environment modelling, Path planning, PID or similar Actuator control
  • Experienced with automotive Software processes and methods (SPICE, ISO26262, Modelling and Validation)
  • Capable of defining Functional Safety relevant SW Architectures, including processes, transport protocols and data management on a complex multi SoC/ECU. Know-how of automotive RTOS and Hypervisors
  • Awareness of architecture considerations with regard to porting high level Software designs towards multi-SoC embedded Systems (partitioning, target IPs, Architecture).
  • Support requirements analysis during RFI, RFQ and internal Projects phases
  • Perform SW design reviews during the different project phases
  • Benchmarking and steering of 3rd party Software suppliers or partners
  • Able to steer and interact with different parts of the organization globally and in various fields including highly complex Infotainment, Telematics and Cockpit systems.
  • Responsible to prepare and collect applicable ISO26262 Software documentation as part of the design process
  • Execution of special projects on behalf of the disciplinary superior

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or appropriate graduation
  • 5+ years of professional experience involving sensor and perception SW Architecture
  • Experienced in UML and modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect and C++
  • Excellent technical understanding for HAD/ADAS Software regarding Features, Requirements, Technology and Architecture
  • Experience in Functional Safety (ISO26262) and Security
  • Consolidated knowledge in applicable SW communication for high speed and real time interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, Flexray, others).
  • Knowledge of the requirements inside the automotive area. Understand the dynamics of the Automotive Tier-1 market and have a vision for market and customer trends
  • Excellent Communication and coordination Skills with Global engineering teams, including preparation of Technical Presentations/Workshops internally and externally up to management level
  • Structured and result-orientated working style
  • Good self-motivated team player
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English. German language skills would be beneficial.
