Hardware Lead Architect Highly Automated Driving (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure the delivery of design tasks within scope, time and quality
  • Perform the analysis and evaluation of project requirements (RFI, RFQ, PoC and internal projects), BOM estimates and calculation as well as effort estimation
  • Perform design reviews during the different project phases
  • Realization and/or review of block diagrams, schematics and layouts in the range of high complexity under consideration of Harman guidelines during the complete development process including ISO 26262 (up to ASIL D)
  • Global cooperation with other departments as Construction, Quality, Manufacturing, Functional Safety and Software during the development process
  • Collect, analyze and prepare all relevant project data and documentation for the project including applicable ones to ISO26262 (i.e FMEDA, FTA)
  • Able to steer and interact with different parts of the organization globally and in various fields including highly complex Infotainment, Telematics and Cockpit systems.
  • Report project status to management level
  • Perform technical measurements on customer site (EMC, Thermal, functional)
  • Execution of special projects on behalf of the disciplinary superior

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or appropriate graduation
  • Knowledge/Experience in ISO26262
  • 5+ years of professional experience in design of Power supply, PMICs, SoC, MCU, High speed memory interfaces and FPGA.
  • Excellent technical understanding for HAD/ADAS Software regarding Features, Requirements, Technology and Architecture
  • High knowledge of the requirements inside the automotive area. Understand the dynamics of the Automotive Tier-1 market and have a vision for market and customer trends
  • Excellent Communication and coordination Skills with Global engineering teams, including preparation of Technical Presentations/Workshops internally and externally up to management level
  • Structured and goal- and result-orientated working style
  • Good self-motivated team player
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English. German language skills would be beneficial
