Position Summary:

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 Warehouse Handlers, warehouse helpers.     

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Assists the Warehouse Supervisor, coordinating and performing the activities of Warehouse Helpers as they receive, store and hand out materials and components and other items, which are required in the production process.
  • Assists the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining safety and housekeeping guidelines within their work area.
  • Operates in a safe manner power industrial equipment vehicle equipped with lifting device to push, pull,  lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment or materials in the warehouse, storage yard or inside the plant.
  • Performs computer transactions and assigns a location in order to obtain an accurate inventory.
  • Stores materials in designated areas, placing their correspondent identification tags.
  • Assures the Supply of materials to the different areas of the Company, keeping records of the distributed materials.
  • Provides the material transfer document to the Warehouse Data Entry Clerk for the input in to the System.
  • Reviews and reports all the discrepancies generated in the area.
  • Reports all material shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Supports in the preparation and execution of physical inventories.

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Computer knowledge (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc SAP, Data Works.)
  • Basic bar code equipment.
  • Junior High School.
  • Certified as Fork lift operator.
  • 1 year of prior warehouse, shipping or receiving experience.
  • Frequently required to reach to reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to lift or move items form 50 to 70 pounds.
  • Demands concentration to perform a suitable job.
