Position Summary: Transducer Technicians produce prototype speakers to support the development of product for automotive customers 


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Setup and operate equipment to assemble and test prototype automotive speakers within the Pilot Factory: 
  • Operate various assembly machines (Rivet, Staking, Robotic Glue Dispensers, Magnetizer, Torque Drivers)
  • Understand basic assembly drawings and bills of materials
  • Understand tool list and job instructions
  • Understand basic English & Metric mathematical conversions of dimensions and weights
  • Contribute to status reports
  • Follow material and quality control procedures
  • Solder terminals per quality standards
  • Provide support to Material Control Technician in picking and returning parts to stock
  • Pack products protectively so avoid damage



Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Personal Computers, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronics or related field
  • Certified or can demonstrate competency in IPC610 soldering standard
  • Experience basic manufacturing and test equipment
  • Ability to work first or third shift

  • Willingness to work in a pilot factory in Juarez, Mexico
