Position Summary:

The SAP business analyst supports of the Materials and Warehouse Inventory operation. This individual must possess strong attention to detail, as the Analyst will be responsible for producing multiple operational reports regarding purchase orders and inventory.

The Analyst will utilize SAP Inventory system to maintain appropriate inventory levels,  Analyst role is responsible for supporting Planning, Financial Operation Control, General Accounting and another depart In this role you will provide recommendations on automation and process improvement opportunities. System support will include input on application architecture, gathering user requirements, developing technical specifications, configuring packaged applications, developing reports, and testing solutions.

This position is responsible for supporting application upgrades, data migrations and ensuring all financial integration transactions are accurate and posting to the correct financial accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Aware of applications that preceded Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) such as MRP and new technologies.
  • Understanding of different ERP project types (Implementation, Support, Upgrade etc.)
  • Overview knowledge of Implementation methodology (ASAP, ACTIVATE), development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and Implementation tools (Solution Manager, Work soft, Enable Now, etc.)

 

 

 

 

  • Ensure inventory audits are performed that exceed targets per bin per year Fiscal management of inventory
  • Work with business to understand pain points and provide solutions for improvements and efficiency in “Order to Cash” processes.

 

  • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the SAP application and the business data integrity. Proactive approach to identifying issues and ability to clearly articulate solutions and options.

 

  • Assist in the ongoing support and improve.

 

  • Responsible to define, analyze, update, all processes from the Materials organization, which include Customer Service, Material Planning, Warehouse Management and EMS.

 

  • Ensure entries for disbursements and adjustments are accurate
  •  Analyze and verify mid/max orders are placed appropriately Conduct in-depth analysis to ensure inventory aging is appropriate
  •  Provide recommendations for cost effective solutions
  • Provide detailed summary reports projects Research and analyze reports to govern, correct issues and improve inventory system

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • SAP certifications, or equivalent work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or equivalent work experience
  • Basic understanding of SAP Inventory system 3-5 years’ experience in a warehouse/inventory environment
  •  Experience providing day-to-day financial transactional and end-user support Ability to work under close direction and supervision on assigned priorities Intermediate
  •  Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Experience in SAP or Inventory Warehouse system
  •  Demonstrated strong analytical skills and ability to identify issues
  •  Excellent organization, communication and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey data and analysis to leadership and partners
  • We need strong functional analyst who understands financial planning and has a hands-on configuration experience with SAP FI/CO. Requires strong analysis and problem solving skills.
