Marketing Manager, Volvo

Position Summary:

The Customer Marketing Manager, Sweden is responsible for the contribution to and execution of the Global Marketing Strategy and Plan for Volvo Cars, Polestar and LYNK & Co. The activities span over a 360° marketing perspective with extra focus on new, innovative communication that successfully communicates our brands and product offers in the digital world. The successful candidate is an experienced Marketing Generalist with a wide knowledge in various Marketing and Communication disciplines – from brand management to sales promotion.

The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and requires international travels. Travel frequency varies upon customers’ and organization’s needs.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and contribute to the development of the 360° Global Marketing Strategy & Plan for Swedish Customers
  • Execution of 360° Global Marketing Plan for Swedish Customers, which includes Product launches, Training, PR, Auto show integration, Events, Experiential marketing, Digital/Social and more.
  • Create a digital road-map and drive creative development and implementation of digital communication concepts and activities
  • Work closely with the Customer Business Unit/Sell-thru organization to support Sales Promotion
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral
  • Administration of budget and reports

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Marketing, Business or Communications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience from various marketing and communication disciplines, B2B and B2C
  • Experience/high knowledge of digital and social marketing
  • Fluent Swedish and English language skills. Mandarin would be a plus
  • Very good presentation capability
  • A strategic mindset in combination with excellent hands-on capabilities
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver on multiple concurrent tasks
  • Team Player that is engaged and proactive with a positive attitude, drive and target focused personality

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing agencies
  • Experience from the Automotive industry, as well as an established network within Volvo Cars, LYNK & Co and Polestar
  • Exposure to Chinese business culture is a plus
  • Passionate about Audio
