Technical Sales Manager, CBU VW Group - Lifestyle Car Audio (m/f)

Responsible for our commercial business activity within a defined account portfolio and focused on business development to deliver growth, including P&L responsibility. Maximize customer awareness of product portfolio and technology working closely with business development. Provide direction to the key departmental interfaces of Engineering, Program Management, Quality and Manufacturing to maximize account performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and technology solutions to deliver business growth
  • Develop strategies for sustainable competitive advantage, supporting Sales/CBU Leader
  • Construct business plans and deliver financial commitments, including profitable business growth and product margin improvement opportunities
  • Lead commercial and technical negotiations on program terms and conditions, roles and responsibilities
  • Maximize customer awareness of product portfolio and technology
  • Monthly status reports, sales forecasts and reviews, as required
  • Present new business, RFI and RFQ opportunities to Executive Management
  • Manage technical programs delivering direction to key functions, Engineering and Program Management
  • Establishes and maintain relationships with appropriate levels and maximize performance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Masters level in appropriate discipline (minimum degree in business or technical related discipline) or equivalent level of experience.
  • 4 - 8 years previous experience within a technical sales and account management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • A professional with proven commercial and technical background with focus on business development to deliver growth.
  • Experience and skills in business development, sales planning and account management of technology product portfolio within automotive and electronics manufacturing industries.



  • Good written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Flexible in terms of tasks and responsibility
  • Ability to build relations and work independently
  • Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
