You will work within HARMAN’s Autonomous Driving team, and will boost the research, creation and evaluation of systems in one or more of the following ADAS divisions: Surround view, front / forward facing cameras, augmented reality and safety platform.

 

Tasks and responsibilities:

 

  • Be an active contributor (m/f/d) focusing on our front / forward facing camera software development towards control algorithms

  • Take end to end development and implementation responsibility of embedded SW algorithm in C and Matlab / Simulink for ADAS features like AEB, LKA within NCAP standards

  • Define software requirements/structure for front camera based ADAS features

  • Work closely with the Feature Software Architect defining embedded software requirements and software structure to support HARMAN’s front camera ADAS products

  • Lead the development and productization efforts for feature algorithms including the relationship with potential third party vendors

  • Drive and take an active role in development of feature concept models and deployment of the same on target hardware

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer is a must, focusing on Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), embedded C (MISRA C), Matlab / Simulink, Ascet, ANSYS Scade, Targetlink as well as RTOS and/ or Linux
  • Hands-on experience in development of prove of concept in advance of ADAS projects for camera, radar or lidar sensors
  • Experience in software structures, design requirements and software architectures beneficial
  • Experience with project quality techniques including planning, risk management and decision making
  • Basic functional safety knowledge/ ISO26262
