Position Summary:

The Senior Coordinator Trade Marketing will be responsible for the planning, control, implementation and success control of all POS communication and activation measures towards customers and consumers in order to achieve the respective divisional goals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any direct or indirect reports.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Implementation of marketing materials and collateral in coordination with local and regional Harman teams and external agencies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • During yearly business planning, contributes to develop strategy for their category and brand.
  • Development of promotion strategies as well as their implementation and success control
  • Management and control of the production of POS materials and corresponding positioning in the retail
  • Processing of advertising material orders, control of product samplings and presentation displays
  • Proofreading of localised content together with Senior Marketing Coordinator
  • Control and responsibility of the assigned trade marketing budget
  • Executes the marketing activities and informs & involves the relevant disciplines & stakeholders.
  • Support for tradeshows and events.
  • Cross-interface cooperation with other departments
  • Proactive gives regular feedback on how marketing material & tools can be improved.
  • Supports marketing manager with bench marking of vendors and agencies.
  • Able to manage and complete multiple projects within budget and timing.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Marketing/ Communication
  • 3+ years work experience in a similar position
  • Willing and able to work independently
  • Mother tongue is German and you are fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic skills in SAP)
