You will work within Harman’s Autonomous Driving team, and will boost the research, creation and evaluation of systems in one or more of the following ADAS divisions: Surround view, front facing cameras, augmented reality and safety platform.

 

Tasks / Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish, evolve and execute the validation and verification (V&V) strategy for ADAS/AD products with primary focus on a Front Facing Camera NCAP product
  • Define and establish SIL/HIL/MIL strategies, processes and tools of NCAP camera product and NCAP features
  • Define and establish Vehicle Level verification of NCAP camera Product and NCAP features
  • Define the V & V tracking system and ensure that test results traceability is established
  • Document and communicate efficiently all V & V issues including cost, timing, success, and failures to the whole team; must stand for complete transparency
  • Define and coordinate global data collection campaigns for NCAP Camera feature testing and provide support for ADAS/AD data collection initiatives within Harman
  • Manage onsite and offsite team of test engineers to develop and execute the test plans that meets both performance and safety requirements for ADAS products; work closely with developers and integrators
  • Be the central interface towards internal and external customers for all V&V operations  

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineer/Computer Science
  • 8 years of experience in automotive ADAS product; V & V is desirable  
  • Must be comfortable getting into the details: e.g. compile the first test catalog for a Front Camera NCAP module
  • Hands on experience in HIL and SIL tools – must have professional knowledge of the dspace tools or equivalent (NI, ETAS, etc)
  • Hands on experience in vehicle systems and ADAS/Active Safety development
  • Ability to work effectively within a global matrix environment with a global footprint
  • Willingness to travel
