Senior Manager, Program Management (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Team lead within Program Management team
  • Overall program responsibility for realization of selected branded and non-branded Audio Programs
  • Steering of international and cross-functional project teams
  • Responsible for delivering the product according to agreed targets (schedule, Product costs, budget costs, quality)
  • Top level planning and controlling
  • Align technical and commercial program targets with functional departments
  • Responsible for Scope baseline and change management process (incl. internal/external Change Control Boards) for selected programs
  • Program interface towards OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress and product alignment
  • Responsible for industrialization including transition from prototyping to production incl. ramp-up
  • Active steering during RFI/RFQ-phase to compile feasibility studies and to align offer to customer product performance specifications
  • Reporting towards customer and internally incl. management leadership
  • Program execution according to HARMAN Project Life Cycle Management Processes (PLM / PMI PM Book)
  • Coordination and support of speaker and amplifier projects

 

Skills & Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering or appropriate graduation)
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in project or line management
  • Ability to manage multifunctional teams in worldwide locations
  • Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management
  • Fluent technical and commercial English skills
  • Ability to motivate and to communicate
  • Ability to mediate between conflict parties
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety is an advantage
