Senior Manager, Digital Portfolio - Lifestyle Audio (m/f)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the portfolio of IT technologies – Use stakeholder influence, knowledge of Lifestyle Audio processes and Enterprise IT Systems to define, describe and deploy digital solutions within the division – together with the involved IT teams.  Key domain areas:

Customer Relationship Management (CRM), eCommerce Platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Big Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mobile Enterprise Applications, Enterprise as a Service, Collaboration and Knowledge Management Platforms, Employee Productivity Applications

  • IT roadmap – Collaborate closely with business teams and stakeholders to contribute to the development of the global business roadmap that drives simplification, standardization, analytics and innovation which will enable profitable growth for HARMAN’s Lifestyle Audio Division. Amplify existing enterprise and divisional digital solution awareness within regional stakeholders and be trusted partner to them in defining new digital and IT solutions or required changes to meet divisional goals and objectives and help stakeholders think through new business opportunities available through digitalization.
  • IT Program Execution – Responsible for Lifestyle Audio IT program execution.  Utilize agile software development methods to drive acceleration of benefits realization, end user satisfaction, and quality assurance of planned Lifestyle Audio IT programs.  Ensure ownership, accountability, and delivery in time, quality and budget. Define requirements and use case, manage priorities and required changes according to business benefits in the program exceution.
  • Process simplification – Embed closely with business users and leaders to identify and drive process improvement opportunities through IT technology across all functional processes within Lifestyle Audio - from eCommerce to Sales to Engineering to Finance - that can enhance end user productivity,  increase market competitiveness, increase operational efficiencies, provide real time insights and informed fast decision making through digital solutions.
  • Operational IT excellence – Manage operational metrics, reviews and rhythms to ensure IT system performance, availability, business continuity, and end user satisfaction for the Lifestyle Audio division.
  • IT Supplier management – Establish strategic supplier relationships, effective contractual negotiations, co-innovation roadmaps, exceptional service level agreements and mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Customer excellence and Continuous improvement– Understand current Customer satisfcation level with the Digital portfolio and drive for improvement where appropriate. Proactively collaborate and co-innovate with customers and suppliers to drive competitive differentiation and growth.
  • User Training – Identify opportunities and then Design, develop, and deliver IT curriculum for teamsto fully utilize and get full advantage IT solutions. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 5 years Digital and IT experience related to senior management roles
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing multiple, medium to large global cross-functional teams or projects, influencing senior level management and key stakeholder
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English, preferred also German)
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills with keen attention to detail
