Marketing Manager, EU Training & Incentives (m/f)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Training and Incentive strategies and programs in concert with the Harman Car Audio customer marketing teams and customer business units (CBU)
  • Forster and activate partnerships OEM, National Sales Companies and Dealership to align on training strategy.
  • Ensure OEM specific tools are integrated in the regional training activities of the NSO such as launch trainings, classroom sessions or web based training material.
  • Development of training strategy for all Harman Automotive brands in collaboration with the Customer Marketing team and customer business units (CBU)
  • Create a long-term partnerships with external training agencies
  • Identification of key markets and key dealerships and coordination of market specific training tours in collaboration with external training agencies
  • Development and implementation of incentive programs dedicated to OEMs’ sales representatives to increase sales and take rates
  • Effectively manage reporting to achieve specified objectives and to ensure projects/programs are completed on-time, on-target and on-budget
  • Follow-up of these incentive programs and training sessions and communication of best practices to OEM headquarters and Harman business units
  • Coordinate and Manage the operating budget., prioritize investments/expenditures to achieve optimal ROI.




Job Requirements:

  • University diploma in business administration or similar profession
  • 5 years of success in professional Sales/Marketing/Training/Product Management from working at or with a car manufacturer or leading car audio manufacturers or Retail or CPG experience.
  • Previous responsibilities in creating and managing budgets and negotiating contracts & deals.
  • Demonstrated expert at developing strong professional customer relationships.
  • Strategic and analytical personality with high problem-solving capabilities.
  • General understanding of the latest car and car audio technologies.
  • Professionally skilled in English and German, a 3rd European language is appreciated
  • Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills on senior management level.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to deliver on multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply required knowledge to make decisions in uncertain and fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated client/customer focused mentality and process orientation with attention to detail.
  • Strategic and very good operational/hands-on capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Europe
