Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall program responsibility for RFQs, CRs and PCNs of Premium Audio applications
  • Steering of international crossfunctional project teams
  • Responsible for delivering product planning and product projections according to requirements and targets (schedule, product cost, engineering effort / cost, quality, performance)
  • Coordinate input from functional departments (hardware, software, mechanics, transducers, procurement, manufacturing, quality, …) and consolidate information into a competitive plan-of-record
  • Reporting towards customers and internally
  • Moderate regular team meetings and drive functional team members towards meeting targets
  • Consolidate the plan-of-record and assess risks, opportunities, assumptions and deviations for a particular program in order to enable a robust decision process by management
  • Program execution according to HARMAN Project Life Cycle Management Processes (PLM / PMI PM Book)
  • Reporting towards PM lead for RFQs



  • University degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Business Engineering or appropriate graduation)
  • Knowledge about and enthusiasm for Premium Automotive Audio Systems
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in project management, electrical engineering or in an equivalent responsibility in an automotive development project
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Fluent technical and commercial English skills
  • Strong ability to motivate and communicate
  • Ability to mediate between conflicting parties
  • Result driven
  • Knowledge of methodologies in project management (e.g. PMP- / PMA-certificates)

  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
