Preventive APQP Engineer (m/f)

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Creation of quality plans and assurance of adherence
  • Implementation of „lessons learned“
  • Definition of product quality gates
  • Execution of document reviews and quality gate reviews
  • Assurance of product maturity level, if required through escalation and closure of open issues
  • Check of effectiveness of measures
  • Moderation of workshops to predict the reliability of the product (functional block analysis)
  • Execution of internal audits and assessments
  • Creation of quality assurance reports
  • Interface to the customer related to preventive quality assurance questions
  • Assurance of adherence to handover regulations and processes from the development to operations including the application of the HARMAN PLM processes
  • Support the new product quality in product and process development phase, evaluate the potential quality risk/support to eliminate
  • Support the customer specific requirements evaluation and implementation throught the organization

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering or similar
  • Good knowledge in the following areas and with the following tools:
  • IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Pareto, CP, MSA
  • VDA knowledge
  • ISO 14001 Knowledge
  • Experience (at least 4 years) in product development (HW / SW) and product manufacturing (production and supplier management processes)
  • Knowledge in Quality Management according to IATF 16949 and Environmental Management according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and other relevant quality assurance methods
  • Prior experience in APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) or Quality Control in a product engineering organization
