(Senior) Software Architect - RFQ Car Audio, Europe

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Software / DSP system responsibility for complete car audio, amplifier- and NVH systems, including system analysis and design during RFI and RFQ phases
  • Analyze the customer requirements allocated to software and map the analyzed requirements to a new or existing software architecture
  • Evaluate and document the software architecture and present it to internal management, sales representatives and at customer meetings
  • Lead and steer the technical Software / DSP RFI/Q team and RFI/Q process ensuring proper investigation and response packages.
  • Follow software & DSP system requirements trends by conducting market research and collecting inputs from customer’s (OEM’s) and relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain appropriate professional designations and up-to-date knowledge of current technology, methods and tools, related to system requirements and system architecture.
  • Interface and requirements definition for software and DSP
  • Definition of integration and verification concepts
  • Projection of SW resources/cost required to execute project development
  • Close cooperation with core development team to define SW platform strategy

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Good knowledge of OOA/OOD, UML, and object-oriented software languages like C/ C++
  • Expert in software architectures and DSP
  • Understanding disciplines of HW and acoustics 

 

Experience: 

 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in developing real-time embedded systems, at least 2 years experience as software architect
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas required: infotainment solutions, multiprocessor architecture, multimedia products
  • Solid background in using modern software development tools like Enterprise Architect, DOORS, JIRA, and PROCOM 

 

Skills: 

 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills both in German and English
  • Flexible in terms of tasks and responsibility
  • Ability to build relations and work independently
  • Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
