Principal Engineer, Project Lead Hardware Development (m/f)

Responsibilities:

 

  • Implementation of system blocks of complex hardware architectures, taking into account quality, cost and serviceability in cooperation with international teams
  • Customer dialogue and presentations
  • Technical management of internal and external employees
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget   
  • Take part in the process to define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

 

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Master  degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Deep and broad knowledge of LF audio Amplifiers, System on Chips (SOC), Ethernet, A2B, CAN and MOST bus systems
  • Deep and broad knowledge of the automotive industry requirements including EMC and thermal design
  • Minimum of 5-10 years experience in embedded real-time hardware development and 2-4 years in in leading Hardware development projects
  • Good written and verbal communication skills both in German and English
  • Flexible in terms of tasks and responsibility
  • Ability to build relations and work independently
  • Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
