Software Architect for Telematics Programs (m/f)

Your Responsibilities:


  • Recommend implementation standards and design patterns that support information security and regulatory compliance objectives
  • Document key technical requirements for our Telematics Software
  • Drive software and hardware designs to achieve customer requirements
  • Act as a Change Management expert and enabler on various projects and programs across the business
  • Customer contact for identifying and understanding requirements
  • Supplier contact for understanding and confirming the suitability of products


Our Required Skills:


  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in electrical, communications, computer engineering or a similar discipline
  • Many years of experience in product development, embedded software and connectivity technologies
  • Extremely hands on in C++ and is willing to get his hands dirty on a continuous basis
  • Expert understanding of Linux OS Kernel and Application layer
  • Has worked on driver and firmware software development on various HW chipsets from Qualcomm, Intel and others to name a few
  • Has worked with ODMs and other design partners and is quite familiar with the manufacturing processes to proactively assess the challenges
  • Proven technical leadership
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
