Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform EMC tests on Harman products.
  • Setup and verify operation of Harman products prior to testing.
  • Build and/or repair test harnesses.
  • Write test reports.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Work Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM 40 hours per week.
  • Flexible may need to work afternoon shift 4PM-12AM.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education:

College Sophomore Standing EE, EET, BSCS, or BS Physics program, minimum.

  • Experience:

Prefer basic understanding of how audio products work and how to setup EMC tests.

  • Certifications:

Prefer student has taken Electromagnetic Compatibility related course work at the University and or Licensed Amateur Radio Operators.

 

Physical Demands:

  • MANUAL DEXTERITY
    • Limited manual dexterity required.
  • PHYSICAL EFFORT
    • Should be able to lift up to 40 pounds. (Car battery)
  • WORKING CONDITIONS
    • Ordinary office, shop, field, or warehouse working conditions with some slightly disagreeable features.  
  • HAZARDS
  • Negligible.  Little or no exposure to hazards.
