(Senior) Software Engineer - Navigation 1

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize software for embedded automotive navigation subsystem.
  • Develop and optimize project specified service associated with Navigation.
  • Analyze existing software in order to be capable to make technical assessments.
  • Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.
  • Provide unit tests and documentation for software modules.
  • Coding following HARMAN  software processes and object-oriented and embedded software industry best practices.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Automation.
  • 2+ years of development experience in C++/C (5+ for Senior)
  • 2+ years of experience in object-oriented software design (5+ for Senior)
  • Experience with processing GNSS, Gyro and signals
  • Knowledge and experience with Dead reckoning algorithms and Kalman Filtering
  • Map data model and navigation software development experience is a plus
  • Navigation Algorithm Experience(e.g. Positioning, route calculation, guidance) is a plus
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment is a plus
  • Experience in operating systems LINUX or QNXis a plus
  • Experience with  development tools (Perforce, MS Visual Studio, Makefile, Doxygen, CPPUnits, Perl)
  • Excellent English language skills
