Order Entry Coordinator

Position Summary:


To manage the SAP sales process and systems testing. To work with the sales order entry team maintaining strong customer focus, communicating closely with customer care at all times.


Job Responsibilities:

  • To manage the SAP sales order process, SAP Customer Master and Material Master, working with counterparts in Harman Professional Customer Care where necessary.
  • Processing of finished goods and spares sales orders.
  • Providing regular updates on order entry status.
  • Electronic and hard copy file management.
  • To carry out/manage testing of new SAP processes as required.
  • To ensure effective and accurate processing of all sales orders within a defined geographical area.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Sales administration experience working in a busy sales environment, preferably dealing with international customers.


 Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:


  • Computer Literate, including the experience of operating and managing a computerized sales order processing system.
  • SAP knowledge essential.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel essential.
  • Must have the ability to work in a pressurized environment, maintaining good customer relations at all times.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable.
  • Must have the ability to assimilate information quickly, efficiently and accurately from varying sources
  • Has the ability to work on own initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Must feel comfortable working within a challenging, change orientated environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have the confidence to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
