Position Summary:

This individual will be the regional expert on all aspects of L&D Operations, including driving Corporate standards, processes,  instructions, and managing the system administration of the enterprise Learning Management System including reporting, locally. The L&D Specialist will be responsible for maintenance and support of the enterprise LMS, and of the learning business processes and associated data to contribute to regional Learning & Development programs.  They will ensure L&D interventions are successfully implemented including organization of vendors, training sites, trainer, and participant support.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive L&D policies, processes, tracking and monitoring, and reporting standards for the Region in alignment with the Global L&D Operations manager
  • Act as resource to ensure effective and consistent implementation and delivery of core people processes & programs; manages all logistics (before, during and after) for training programs; coordinates partnerships with professional vendors as required; coordinates nomination process for programs; coordinates facility, accommodation and equipment needs; tracks participation and other success measures; coordinates all expenses and intercompany charges within finance timelines; provides data and reports as needed including for audit purposes
  • Manages L&D administration including user support, local ticket management, tool-linked communication, training of users and trainers, supports the roll-out of tool enhancements; drives reports
  • Develops and maintains state of the art communications channels for L&D such as local intranet pages, information to users, protocol of learning board meetings, training catalogues, program launch communication, training materials


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
  • Min of 3-5 years of experience working with HR and Learning Systems
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Experience in successfully managing Learning Systems projects such as roll-out of new tools, training of users, super user support, continuous improvement, and metrics
  • Proven analytical skills in working with data, identifying opportunities for improvement and executing a plan to deliver on those opportunities
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal, and ability to work across multiple levels in the organization


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management experience
  • Local language proficiency
