Hardware Integrator - Lifestyle Car Audio

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate HW development of new automotive audio amplifiers for small HW development teams (developer, layouter) in cooperation with HW Project Lead
  • Technical responsibility for HW development progress in the project
  • Check and implement external / internal requirements for HW systems
  • Create technical specification
  • Synchronize and collaborate with developers at other Harman sites worldwide
  • Creation of circuit diagrams (with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner or similar)
  • Performing simulations (with PSpice or LTSpice)
  • Create PCB design / layout requirements
  • Surveying / verification of sample equipment (as a black box and in a circuit)
  • Compliance with device specifications, standards and customer guidelines
  • Cooperation with quality, production, supplier, customer, mechanics & software development
  • Documentation of the development work
  • Facilitate technical reviews.
  • Create and contribute to FMEA

 

Qualification:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Knowledge of thermal management in circuit design
  • Knowledge of the Ethernet, A2B, CAN and MOST bus systems

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in in the development of automotive audio amplifiers, DC / DC converters and digital circuits (MCU, DSP)
  • Knowledge of EMC-compliant circuit design
  • Experience in circuit simulation with PSpice
  • Experience in thermo simulations is highly preferred
