Hardware Engineer / ECAD Administrator - Car Audio

Additional Work Location(s) ​​​​​:  




  • Administration and maintenance of our ECAD design system Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise
  • Test, package definition and introduction of new software releases together with IT department
  • Customization and automation of our ECAD tool chain using scripting languages, e.g. VBScript, JScript, Perl, etc.
  • Definition of needed software licenses
  • Support of schematic, layout and component library engineers
  • Global cooperation with all Harman hardware development departments as ECAD expert



Required Skills:


  • At least 3 years of experience in hardware development
  • Deep knowledge of ECAD systems, preferred of Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise
  • Deep knowledge in schematics and layout design
  • Experience in component library administration
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, especially VBScript, JScript, Perl, etc.
  • Business fluent in English (German language is a plus)
