Hardware Engineer - Car Audio / Quality Assurance

Role purpose:

 

This role includes one of the most important activities in Hardware development: HW Quality Assurance. The suitable candidate will be at the very heart of the HW development by supporting the improvement of HW processes.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Being an active member in HARMAN Global Process Team
  • Definition, creation, modification and implementation of work instructions, processes, templates and documents
  • Communication and coordination in a multicultural and multi-geographical environments
  • Ability to organize, delegate and communicate tasks

 

 

Required Skills:

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in hardware development
  • Deep knowledge of ECAD systems, preferred of Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise but acceptable Altium and Cadence
  • Experience in component library administration
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, especially VBScript, JScript, Perl, etc.
  • Experience in schematic and PCB design
  • Experience creating processes, work instructions, templates and technical documents
  • Interest in engineering processes, especially HW
  • Business fluent in English
