Position Summary:

The successful Candidate will provide leadership in a global matrix organization environment with special focus on

  • Continuous improvement of HARMAN’s end-to-end supply chain processes, related to production materials planning, ordering and critical parts shortage management within the mentioned Segment
  • Continuous improvement of HARMAN’s global safety stock policy, warehouse management and inventory accuracy 


  • Provide leadership in a global, matrix organized supply chain organization, establish and track global KPIs in close cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, develop and communicate proposals to global cross-functional executive leadership team
  • Look for innovative ways, help to develop HARMAN’s supply chain to become best-in-class
  • Lead strategic, cross-functional projects and programs to design and implement HARMAN’s future supply chain processes
  • Develop standardized global processes, ensure implementation and continuous improvement
  • Plan & Lead regular SIOP Supplier workshops for critical suppliers
  • Represent global SIOP organization in cross-functional supplier QBRs
  • Monthly reporting to executive leadership team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Operations, handling Electronics categories/commodities (e.g. Semiconductor IC, Memory, Telematics, Compute Modules, PCB, Passive & Electromechanical components)
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the area of supply chain and/or materials management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with supervisory responsibility
  • Supplier & Production planning experience, preferably in automotive
  • Excellent communication & problem solving skills with a “can-do” attitude
  • Willingness to work in an office in Budapest/Hungary
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
