Position Summary: SW Developer for Connectivity-Online domain

The SW Developer will be part of a team responsible for developing software in the Connectivity-Online team for  Next Generation High-end Embedded Infotainment Systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop software components (C++/Linux) and UnitTests
  • Review Software specifications, contribute to Design documents
  • Analyze customer specifications; develop components design based on this information
  • Make functional testing of developed source code, participate in code review sessions
  • Act according the standards of the automotive industry and in-car applications and software development processes
  • Assist the hardware team in debugging: provide measurements on the provided boards, prepare test scenarios
  • Create and maintain code design documents on high level and/or component level

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 year of experience as a software developer for Junior SWE or 3+ years for Regular SWE
  • Good knowledge of C++ (V11)
  • Linux experience
  • Experience in developing embedded applications
  • Knowledge in inter-process communication, threading and synchronization
  • Good English communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specializations
  • Familiar with QT, Javascript, Wireshark
  • Knowledge in agile software development methods (SCRUM)

Good-To-Have Knowledge:

  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Networking protocols and related experience (IPv4/IPv6, Bluetooth, NAT, DHCP, Firewalling)
  • Linux IP test tools (ping, iperf, Wireshark, ...)
  • Atlassian tools (Confluene, Jira, Stash)

  • Willingness to travel (0-20% of time) depending on the project necessities
