Position Summary:

The Qualification Engineer Tool Expert is focusing on development and maintenance of software and hardware based on test automation, for automotive HW validation testing. All these refer to simulation and supervision of the devices to be tested. Furthermore, the equipment should be tested on required time and quality.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of required software for the automation of hardware qualification test procedures (NI Labview)
  • Development of required software for the automation of hardware qualification evaluation/reporting (NI Diadem VBS)
  • Support the Hardware Qualification Department to ensure smooth process of test procedures in the laboratories and testing facilities
  • Collaborate with project teams of hardware qualification to ensure that test requirements are fully covered


Basic Qualifications:

  • Master degree or equivalent work experience in Electrical engineering or related field
  • Professional experience in the field of automotive hardware validation
  • Practical experience in environmental hardware qualification as well as the usual automotive bus systems (e.g., CAN, MOST, BroadR-Reach)
  • Comprehensive experience in NI Labview programming
  • Basic knowledge of text-based programming languages 


Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

  • Basic experience in NI Diadem VBS programming
  • Basic skills with Linux
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral
  • Very good English knowledge, both written and verbal
  • German language skills eligible

  • Willingness to work in our office in Bucharest
