Due to the rapid growth and success of the Consumer Audio division, we are looking for a Key Account Manager, based in Switzerland. This person will report to the Sales Manager Switzerland and is integral to driving the success of the Sales department.  

 

Position Summary:

The Key Account Manager is responsible to drive sales (both sell-in and sell-out) at outlet level in the Swiss market for National Key Accounts. He/she is responsible for building strong customer relationship, as well as for business development, distribution and prospecting in the market.

His/her main focus is driving excellence at the point of sale and to execute the objectives coming from the Sales Manager at store level for all segments in the region.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

       

  • Drives the Swiss distribution strategy and optimizes the relationship  with existing accounts
  • Identifies and develops new opportunities and enters into negotiations with the respective accounts
  • Aligns on strategy with the A/CH Head of Sales
  • Builds, redesigns and implements the account plan according to ranging and marketing calendar
  • Prepares negotiations for the National accounts and supporting businesses
  • Monitors and reports competitive threats and proposes responses as appropriate
  • Translates regional trends into a sales business plan
  • Development of sell-out oriented marketing activities for the accounts
  • Executes all activities in delivering customer satisfaction
  • Manages HARMAN forecast in accordance with customer plans

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: The position does not have any direct or indirect report.

   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of sales or business development experience within the consumer industry or high tech industry and/or at a relevant customer
  • In depth knowledge of the customers in the region
  • Excellent English and French language skills, both written and oral
  • Understanding of modern replenishment tools proven proficiency in MS Office

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel  >40% of the time
