Solution Architect - EDI Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and debug maps in Seeburger BIS6.
  • Manage and monitor all EDI interfaces between internal and external systems as part of a team.
  • Troubleshoot application and technical issues and opportunities, define and document technical requirements, drive solutions for process improvements, and implement solutions.
  • Support business users on a daily basis; maintain up-to-date working knowledge of business processes and systems and provide integration support to trading partners.
  • Analysis, design and transfer of business requirements in the areas of SAP ABAP Programming.
  • Responsible for design, development, test and delivery of technical objects of ABAP Reporting, ABAP Wendynpro, Dialogue programming, Forms etc.
  • Writing Technical Design, Designing and Developing Solution and Testing.
  • Troubleshoots & Debugging ABAP functional issues.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and develop/support for issue solving.
  • Provide Level 2 & Level 3 end-to-end support of ABAP.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computers, Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years designing and troubleshooting EDI maps.  Automotive industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with communication protocols AS2, FTP, sFTP.
  • Experience with Value Added Networks such as IBM Sterling Commerce.
  • Should have development including forms; interfaces; conversions; reports.
  • Must have experience of converting functional specification to technical specification, coding, unit testing and documentation of the custom development.
  • Must have these technical skills – SAP ABAP Reporting, Dialogue programming, LSMW, BDC, BAPI, Data Dictionary, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, RFCs, Object Orieneted ABAP, Webdynpro etc.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and work in multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing existing code for better performance
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing, strategic projects as well as Application Development projects.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in an office in Bangalore
