Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Business Solution Architect for IBM CLM Toolchain
  • Create strategies and solutions in CLM to the need of the global stakeholders, considering the company strategy, methods and processes
  • Design/Architect and Develop solutions for OEM specific Collaboration Models (e.g. interfaces, Exchanges, Work- and Datamodels) focusing on the functionality and deployment architecture.
  • Design and align integrations of multiple heterogenous tools from all V-Model instances (e.g. SCM, Testmanagement, CI/CD, Project- and Program planning,..) with Business
  • Implement the strategy, processes and practices for the global V-Model portfolio or SAFe Agile  in IBM CLM with the goal to increase the OEM product development quality and reduce cycle time, in consultation with the departments APQP, EPG and programs
  • Alignment of process-compliant solutions with the technical Architect in IDC
  • Realization of Quality-related CLM solutions in the global GEO organozation
  • Guide and train the teams to use the Application Lifecycle Tools efficiently
  • Coordinate and harmonize efforts in alignment with GET tool strategy
  • Develop Automation Solutions
  • Enhancement of Training Material/-content for introduced solutions
  • Work with IT Teams to define and drive the infrastructural implementation – distributed/centralized servers, network etc.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IBM Rational Suite (CLM) as System Architect
  • Experience to work in a global environment with knowledge about the Automotive Tier 1 Product Lifecycle
  • 6-12+ years of Application Lifecycle Management with IBM Rational Suite. Hands-on experience configuring, implementing and establishing solutions in tools for Test Mgmt., Requirements Mgmt., Incident Mgmt., Projectmanagement, Design Management, Global Configuration, Report Builder, Continuous Integration and Software Configuration Management
  • Experience working in huge, globally distributed projects using IBM CLM Tools Confirguration, Eclipse Plug-In Development, Core Java
  • Strong experience on creating custom tools and utilities that assist with Tool Rollout
  • Experience in RESTFul Webservice, OSLC based development
  • Experience in Eclipse based application, XML parsing/creation
  • 3+ years experience in establishing solutions for Planning, Test Mgmt. and Requirements Mgmt.
  • Experience to administrate a ALM tools including its Roles, Access Rights, Policies, Documentation and strong knowledge about IT Infrastructure
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts and solutions in clear, concise and easily readable format by both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with third party vendors and any supporting departments to solve issues
  • Membership in international forums for either business processes as described above or CLM related ones

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel (sporadic 2-3 times per year)
  • Willingess to work out of Bengaluru location.
