Essential Responsibilities:


  • Works with National Sales Manager to provide support to Harman Pro’s Indian dealers, contractors, engineers and end customers and to generally achieve financial targets for all Cinema business in India.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing sales programs.  Proactively pursue and close sales for all Professional Brands.
  • Report back bi-weekly the forecast and sales projections for the month to the National Sales Manager
  • Responsible for driving targets for every cinema dealer/contractor and ensures reports are compiled and sent each month to track progress against plan.
  • Constantly evaluate contractor and dealer strengths and weaknesses and formulate appropriate action plans.
  • Conduct regular research on the Cinema market in India to ensure Harman Professional is maximizing all effort and is constantly refining the contractor/dealer network.
  • Constantly assess each brand’s position in the Cinema market and report back to each brand on any major changes in competitive brand activities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key consultants, contractors, dealers and end-users in the Cinema market
  • Develop direct relationships with all the Cinema vendors in India to ensure strong end user customer relationship.
  • Works with the Applications support team to facilitate the sale of Harman Pro cinema products
  • Maintaining a list of both current and future key projects for the Cinema market. 
  • Preparing and submitting monthly activity reports to the Sales Manager, India, to include: Results of Sales performance in cinema market by territory or account; updates on travel and meetings of Consultants, Contractors, dealers and end-users; updates on the status of current and future key projects; and information and analysis concerning significant competitive activity in India in the Cinema market
  • Traveling +50% of the time throughout India to visit with key customers, contractors and consultants with the aim of developing new sales within the Cinema market.
  • Coordinates all deliveries and special needs by the clients to fulfill their needs. 
  • Provide monthly travel schedule/event calendar in advance.
  • Produce trip reports after every business trip made to include summaries of meetings held with customers along with action items to follow up on.
  • From time to time this position will be expected to carry out other activities for which he/she is competent to do in order to assist in the efficient operation of the Company.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Graduate, preferable with a business related degree. 
  • Minimum of 3+ years sales-related experience in India
  • Record of accomplishment achieving sales revenue targets.
  • Strong relationship and knowledge of the major cinema dealers across India and experience of managing them
  • Existing relationship with some of the top cinema vendors
