Develop Instrument cluster and Adaptive AUTOSAR based software components for Digital Cockpit/standalone Instrument Cluster.



  • Develop a system and component for Digital Cluster/ Cockpit in Classic AUTOSAR/Adaptive AUTOSAR environment
  • Design and develop components for Instrument Cluster applications / system software in compliance to ISO 26262 functional safety standard and ASPICE process
  • Shall handle technical interaction with client/Harman Client partner
  • Carry out requirement elicitation and requirement management
  • Prepare design documents, Implement design, unit test plans/test cases, participate in technical discussions and reviews
  • Work in a collaborative and distributed team
  • Mentor team members on technical matter

  1. Analyze customer requirements, internal requirements and change requests
  2. Derive and extend technical requirements from customer requirements, internal requirements, change requests and system architectural design.
  3. Ensure traceability by linking requirements and defect tickets consistent to requirement management strategy/plan
  4. Evaluate and document feasibility according to project priorities and constraints for the particular domain
  5. Estimate implementation effort and map requirements/features to releases/milestones
  6. Design system level architecture for Digital Cluster/ Cockpit application
  7. Implement the design as per AUTOSAR architecture and in compliance to ISO26262 and ASPICE
  8. Ensure analysis and solution of defects
  9. Communicate time and cost relevant issues to project management
  10. Report status of development to project management
  11. Identify, analyze, manage and report technical risks
  12. Review/approve work products e.g. design documents, decisions
  13. Single point of contact with other internal FOs/Teams/third party supplier and customer-FO for technical topics
  14. Clarification of complex and unclear issues and requirements with the customer and collect all technical specifications (CPM FO)
  15. Interface to other domains within the project (Domain FO)


Basic Qualifications:

  1. BE / B-Tech / M. Tech in CS, IT, EE, EC
  2. More than 10 years of experience (out of which 4 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Instrument Cluster or other ECU domain)
  3. Deep understanding and working experience in all layers of Adaptive AUTOSAR/ AUTOSAR including tools and methodologies.
  4. Prior experience in Automotive Instrument Cluster domain (standalone - like Digital / Hybrid cluster or heterogeneous systems like Digital Cockpit) is highly recommended
  5. Working experience on model based design is preferred (tools like MatLab, Simulink and Real time workshop Embedded Coder)
  6. Basic understanding of ISO 26262 functional safety integrity levels (Working knowledge of Functional Safety related Software development is added advantage)
  7. Working experience on Renesas and NXP microcontroller is preferred
  8. Working knowledge on QNX (middleware and system level highly recommended) is desirable
  9. Deep understanding of RTOS concepts like booting (knowledge of secure boot preferred), scheduling algorithms, memory management, resource distribution, power management etc.
  10. Deep understanding of CAN (CAN FD is added advantage) protocol (Vector CAN stack preferred), CAN related tool (CAN Analyzer, CANoe) and diagnostic protocols like UDS, KWP etc.
  11. High proficiency in C/C++ Programming skills along with best design and safety programming practices for resource constraint systems
  12. Skillset to read schematics and technical reference manuals
  13. Skillset to use Hardware tools like JTAG debuggers, oscilloscope, multimeter for trouble shooting/performance measurement of critical software/hardware.
