Position Summary:
This position is within HARMAN’s Corporate Division, headquartered in Stamford, CT with approximately 30,000 employees around the world. The HR Talent Management team is looking for the ultimate team player to support Corporate, the Regions and Divisions globally in Talent Management systems.  The Successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success with hands on execution in developing and implementing policies, procedures and processes to meet our business needs globally.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct reports.

Job Responsibilities:
This role will have global responsibility to help drive business alignment of HR Talent Management processes; supported through frequent regional and divisional interaction with HR colleagues to lead HR system implementations and enhancement projects. The person in this role will rely on his/her technical skills and experience and knowledge of the HR function to develop systems solutions for functional HR process requirements and provide ongoing support.

This role is a key position to the Global Talent Management  SystemsTeam.  The Candidate must lead by example with a ‘get it done attitude’ setting.  Moreover as part of this nimble team, it is expected as opportunities arise to support our colleagues in areas such as Learning and Development.


  • Responsible for ongoing HR system production support, including system configuration, and process monitoring and error resolution
  • Plan, coordinate and lead global talent management system projects as needed
  • Identifies common system needs for defined target groups, conducts needs analysis within the organization to develop solutions that achieve the desired outcomes
  • Create test scripts and execute those scripts to ensure the error free processing of HR system enhancements and new releases
  • Engage with People Continuity process owners, systems owners, and end users to define reporting requirements and streamline / enhance existing reports, presentations, and processes
  • Ensure the accuracy of system data by generating and analyzing audit reports
  • Create prototype reporting models through data analytics, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers
  • Update and publish reports as needed
  • Support HR portal maintenance in HARMAN intranet


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands on experience in Successfactors implementation, administration and support; SF Learning module certified
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources/Information Systems
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis, and data manipulation in Human Resources or Information Technology
  • Functional knowledge of HR is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Exposure or industry experience to Business Intelligence Tools is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong process management skills and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload and maintain schedules and deadlines
  • Strong data presentation skills (report design, charts, graphs)
  • Worked remotely with global teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications. Comfort communicating with senior leaders and presenting in front of large audiences
  • Should be assertive and pro-active in approach
  • Individual must possess good technical skills and aptitude to operate and manage Microsoft Office, ERP systems HR

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Willingness to work in an office based in Bengaluru, India and support multiple timezones.
  • Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
