Position Summary:

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Engineers for designing and architecting next gen Android Infotainment Systems
  • Rapid prototyping of Android Applications which can be further extended by the team.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Architecting the design for new features and technologies in Android for Infotainment systems
  • Enhancing and customizing existing android modules to infotainment systems.
  • Design, implement, validate and roll out assigned software component into project source repository.
  • Setting up the test frameworks and Resolve technical issues.
  • Close cooperation with other leaders and projects managers

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 12-15 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Must have lead engineering team for 3-4 years providing technical leadership.
  • CPU:  ARM, X86
  • Experience in source revision control system such as git, gerrit
  • Good knowledge of working with Open source software packages.
  • Deep knowledge of Core Java principles
  • Deep knowledge of the Android Application and Middleware layers.
  • Hands on knowledge on Android Applications, Application Framework and Android System UI.
  • Hands on knowledge of various versions of Android, and ability of translate requirements to technical specifications.
  • Experienced in Android programming environment using binder, shared memory etc.
  • OS: Linux / Android. Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development, synchronization primitives
  • Tools: Development and Debugging using Host – Target tool chains for embedded platforms
  • Very proficient with Andriod programming & debugging tools
  • Positive attitude towards work (Dynamic) and good communication skills

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Willingness to work in an office located in Bangalore, India.
