Channel Marketing Specialist, MEA & Iberia

Position Summary:

 

This role will be responsible for managing the Channel Partners in the MEA and Iberia. Driving marketing content through the Channel Partners and monitoring output. Ensure that all materials that have HARMAN branding are in line with guidelines, including events and advertising.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining marketing relationships with the Channel Partners, to be first point of contact for Customer and Channel Account Managers
  • Working with HARMAN sales team to schedule quarterly marketing meetings
  • Communicate the strategic campaigns and focus areas to all contacts and ensure they are briefed understand the requirements
  • Support with translations of content where needed
  • Review all activities actioned by the Channel Partners, to check that Brand Guidelines are met and that HARMAN Professional Solutions are correctly represented in the market
  • Working with Ecommerce team to ensure the correct content for products are displayed on partners websites.  
  • Regular audit of Partners activities to ensure the right products are listed, content is correct, images, videos and banners are shown
  • Monitor usage of Showpad and the “DAM” so that partners are making the most of the assets available
  • Ensure all contacts from the organization are in IBM CRM so that they can receive direct communications from Harman.
  • Input content for both Internal and External newsletters from regional activities to MultiMedia Marketing Specialist
  • Support sales growth through maximising marketing and communication and deliver and ROI
  • Maximising all opportunities to drive brand awareness through Channel Partner via a variety of methods, including Adverts, Banners, Promotions, Direct Mail, Email, Events and Roadshows
  • Providing regular report on activities at Channel Partners and share within the team

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, or 2+ years of progressive related experience in marketing, Channel management, project management.
  • Analytical approach to data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of marketing campaigns and delivering projects
  • Strong experience using CRM tool
  • Requires prior experience in a professional office environment, proven verbal and written communications, and strong collaboration skills.
  • Expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Understanding of audio and/or lighting products strongly preferred, especially those belonging to HARMAN Professional brands, or in technical solution sales
  • Experience training customers and colleagues (products, sales) strongly preferred

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Basic Qualifications:

  • Essential; Number literate and very competent with Excel
  • Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Technical subject.
  • Preferable: Has a basic understanding of Music Instrument and/or audio industry as a whole.
