Position Summary:

This position is with the global e-commerce team of  HARMAN’s Lifestyle Division and is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are looking for a team player to support our e-commerce growth by ensuring that product content is available timely and of the highest quality standard. You are a meticulous, organized and process driven Web Content Publisher who is hands-on and motivated. Having all the boxes ticked is what makes you happy in your work.

 

In this role you support the new product introduction process (NPI) by processing all available assets (copy, images, PDFs, etc) for a new product into our PIM (Product Information Management) tool so that our merchandisers globally will be able to add the product to their website(s). You will keep a close watch of deadlines and completeness, will escalate or chase when necessary and will record all status updates in JIRA.

You will also work with regions directly to create B-stock SKUs or regional specific products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process NPIs (New Products) to website launch readiness by loading and/or importing content, translations and assets into the PIM (Product Information Management) or DAM (Digital Asset Management) tools respectively
  • Follow up with internal suppliers (traffic tean, central marketing, GPLM, a.o.) for any missing or incompete assets
  • Liase with product & marketing stakeholders or sign-off / approval at key gates of the NPI
  • Document all actions & statuses in JIRA
  • Perform basic Quality Control on product content & completeness
  • Support regions in the creation of B-stock SKUs and local specific products
  • One-off content project as required by the manager

     

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledgeable in technology, ideally experienced in using Jira or another tracking system and PIM or CMS
  • Experience with dealing with set priorities and keeping tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently but as of a dynamic team
  • Experience in within a diverse, multi-cultural team
  • Fluent in English, both written & verbal
  • Hands-on / getting things done mentality

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in content management
  • Computer & tech savvy
  • Speaking more than one language and having experience dealing with translations

 

Eligibility Requirements: 

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work in an office in Amsterdam
