Position Summary:

 

The Senior International Key Account Manager is primary responsible for sales, commercial and strategic partnership plans of designated Strategic International Key Accounts across EMEA region. The Sr.IKAM will develop and implement the defined international strategy adjusted to the local plans and market structure. He/She works in close cooperation with the international teams in Amsterdam,  regional KAM and regional leaders in order to set up a harmonized strategy and commercial plans for the strategic key accounts.The Sr. IKAM is responsible for building strong customer relationships on international and regional/local level in close corporation with the regional KAM teams. He/She will be instrumental in the planning and execution of tailor made strategic plans and sell out driven activities with our key partners .He/She reports to Director of strategic Accounts EMEA.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The position does’nt have any direct or indirect report yet, however this position is created as part of the succession planning for the next management level.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key Account Management
  • Works the International distribution strategy adapting company global guide lines.
  • Optimizes the relationship and business with international key accounts
  • Developes specific strategic account plans and business planning for International key accounts in alignment with regional/local teams.
  • Understand the structure of each indivudal market where he/she operates his/her business.
  • Plans and coordinates national and international campaigns and activities in alignment with regional teams and adaptin market particularities.
  • Negotiates international terms and conditions with designated accounts.
  • Regular customer visits with the regional/local teams

     

     

  • Personal Account Plan Management
  • Translates International trends into regional sales business plan (Transfer of Know How)
  • Participates in negotioations on regional/local level with regional KAM team, where support is necessary.
  • Monitors and reports competitive threats and proposes responses as appropriate
  • Uses account plan as communication tool and endorses individual account plan
  • Full management of SOA and accrurals driven activies on International and regional level with regional BAM’s
  • Preperation of monthly reporting of designated Interntioan key accounts within his/her responsibility area.

     

     

  • Sales Development
  • Responsible for business development for International key accounts
  • Development of sell-out oriented marketing activities for international key accounts
  • Analyzes sales results on each territory and proposes solutions in order to close gap between plan and actuals.
  • Forecasat responsibility on international level for promotional activities in collaboration with regional teams and BAM’s.
  • Budget and target responsibility for assigned international key accounts for direct and indirect sales.

 

  • Customer Service
  • Ensures queries are solved effectively balancing service and cost
  • Commercially co-responsible for developing business partnership with account
  • Monitors customer stock situation
  • Executes all activities in delivering customer satisfaction
  • Ensure orders are collected and allocated in collaboration with supply chain and sales support teams

 

  • Other Responsibilities
  • Maximizes, monitors and manages promotion execution
  • Evaluates market developments
  • Monitors and executes assigned projects
  • Reduces sales cost for cost optimization
  • Keeps records of all customer contacts, sales proposals and conversation reports up to date

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of sales or business development experience within International organization in consumer electronics sector.
  • In depth knowledge of European retail landscape and particularities of each individual market.
  • Understanding of relevant cultural differences in Europe.
  • Strong influencing and relationship building ability.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral. Second language, preferably French, is an advantage.
  • Understanding of modern replenishment tools proven proficiency in MS Office.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Willingness to work in an office.
