Job Description

Position Summary:

As the S&OP Analyst you support different departments in the EMEA Lifestyle organization by providing operational support and driving business control. You understand the business and business processes to improve the way business in EMEA is conducted, in alignment with the overall company procedures and goals. The S&OP Analyst is a specialist function in a variety of operational areas, mainly concentrated on Product Availability management, support in the demand planning process and regular business support.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Availability Management
    • Central point of contact for all product availability matters
    • Ensure allocation of available products in shortage situation (process guarding + control)
    • Control of Promotion Planner
    • Auto-replenishment order priority management
    • Coordination between Supply Chain, Category Management and Sales organisation.
    • Ensure timely publication of internal availability reports and allocation schedules
  • Demand Planning
    • Support of the monthly cycle of product forecasting
    • Continuously monitoring of orderintake vs. forecast (forecast fill rate)
    • Ensure timely publication of internal reporting; templates, supporting documents
  • Business Support
    • Ensure general Business Control
    • Strong supporting role towards Sales and Category Management
    • Umbrella function within Operations department; key contact for rest of the organisation
    • Coordination of product sell-out
    • Ensure timely publication of internal reporting, especially (EOL) stock reporting, backorder reporting and drive excess stock depletion
  • Drive Business Process Improvement and Financial Accountability
    • Provide business control framework around commercial processes
    • Recommend and provide active support in business improvements projects
    • Work with departments to improve financial accountability
  • Perform ad-hoc Analysis and participate in Projects
    • Manage and execute all incoming requests for business analysis
    • Manage or participate in departmental improvement projects
    • Participate in business improvement projects
  • Management Reporting and Data Management
    • Provide regular reports on results, including variance reporting and KPI reporting
    • Safeguard data accuracy
    • Control operational systems

 


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master in Logistics / Supply Chain
  • 2 to 5 years work experience in supply chain, preferably in a similar business area
  • Fluent in English. Dutch language skills are an advantage
  • An independent worker with excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with MS office suite, especially excel
  • Experience with SAP is highly preferable
