Position Summary:

This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in Europe, headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As part of the EMEA Online Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, this individual will be responsible for managing and analyzing the performance of digital marketing channels specifically designed to develop the direct sales. These marketing channels currently include, but are not limited to SEM, Comparison Sites, Programmatic Display / Retargeting and Affiliate Marketing. Brands include JBL and Harman/Kardon.

Job Responsibilities:

As part of the EMEA Online Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, this individual will be responsible for developing, managing and analyzing the performance of digital marketing channels specifically designed to develop the direct sales. These marketing channels currently include, but are not limited to, SEM, Comparison Sites, Affiliate Marketing and Retargeting.

 

Affiliate marketing management in particular will be one of the main priorities, in which you will actively build and manage the relationship with agencies & top publishers for our top 4 markets (DE, FR, UK, NL).

 

Other responsibilities include:

 

  • Assist in managing the ecommerce marketing channels: SEA, SEO, Comparison sites, Affiliate Marketing, Programmatic Display / Retargeting.
  • Help create a renewed affiliate marketing strategy, maintain relationship with affiliate platform (TradeTracker) and top publishers
  • Manage the performance from all digital performance channels, analyze data and identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Analyze the performance metrics, i.e. increase traffic towards remaining Ecommerce channels and improve ROI
  • Manage and work closely with online marketing agencies (SEA, Social)
  • Stay on top of changes in the ecommerce and online marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management / (Digital) Marketing or something similar to these subjects.
  • At least 3-4 years of Digital Performance Marketing experience (affinity for Sales)
  • Proven success whilst working at either a (global) brand or retailer, and/or digital agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive Ecommerce sales through effective digital marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Experience with platforms such as Google Ads (AdWords), Bing Ads, Google Analytics, Affiliate platforms. Big plus if you also have experience with Google Marketing Platform (DoubleClick) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Ability to translate Ecommerce (marketing) opportunities into actions
  • Ability to drive organizational change based on Ecommerce objectives
  • Experience in working cross regional and globally with a diverse, multi-cultural team, fluency in the English language is required for this role.
